Of course, when I switched it to AMP only, the problem has disappeared. Under HDMI settings - Audio OUT, it was AMP + TV. I realised that there must be some sort of a setting in AVR that detects modes that TV can handle, and yep. When I booted it up, I saw that “Device” shows “Auto - TV”, and that the channels were set to 2.0 with no possibility to change to 5.1. Well, I finally found the source of my problem with a help of a game! Yep, I remembered that Uncharted 4 have LPCM sound-out for its awesome soundtrack, and Auto settings that detects the receiver and options. My old Sony AVR showed PCM with the exact same setup as above, but dn1080 shows Dolby Digital. ? Infuse app should decode TrueHD and DTS MA to PCM, and receiver should display it as PCM. What can be cause of this? Why is infuse not sending PCM or… maybe it is, but AVR is displaying it like Dolby Digital. I currently have the Apple TV (4th Gen, I believe - the one before the 4k one) and use Infuse Pro 4 on it to playback content from my NAS. Both platforms include beautiful new designs which make extensive use of fan art to set the mood for the perfect movie night. Hello all, I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered, but I couldn’t find anything definitive by searching around. Of course I followed Infuse guidelines on how to set the sound: “Auto” in infuse and “Best Quality Available” on Apple TV settings, but unlike my old receiver which showed PCM, here is not the case. Fresh new design iOS and Apple TV are also getting some love in 7.0. on PC ->Shield Pro 2019 Plex Client ->LG C1 -> Denon Receiver and 5. Yesterday I installed my new AV Receiver (Sony Str-dn1080), and all I can see on a receiver screen is Dolby Digital, not PCM. I guess I have two questions: First, is the Apple TV unable to handle TrueHD. I’m using Apple TV 4th gen and Infuse App.
